Very disappointed with this stay. We typically stay at the Hampton Inn with Hilton but decided we would try something different. I love a more location driven feel of a hotel vs a commercial line feel so we went here. Booking was simple over the phone and the front desk attendant was very friendly. The system was down when we arrived but she was very pleasant with a positive spirit and extremely welcoming. I think checking in was the best part of our stay! Our room on the other hand was not the best. It smelled of wetness and mildew, the bedding was damp and just very uncomfortable. When I messaged the team I was told to turn on the dry setting on the AC unit to pull the moisture out of the room but not offered any dry clean bedding or anything. There was also the strangest loud noises coming from what seemed to be the mini frig but I couldn’t tell. Had my kids freaked out because it sounded like someone was trying to come through the walls behind the frig. So nonetheless we had a rough night. I was also advised breakfast was not included in our reservation which I specifically confirmed when booking that breakfast was included, this is one of the biggest pointed of my hotel sele
